Irrigation Policy in Australia, China and Brazil

Recently, Kimberley Graham presented at the Irrigation Australia Conference in Melbourne. The 2008 Irrigation Australia National Conference, themed "Share the water, share the benefits" involved the entire value chain of the irrigation industry. Kimberley's presentation Views on Irrigation Policy in Australia and Experiences from Brazil and China is available now on the Irrigation Australia website.


Kimberley was awarded the IAL/NPSI Fellowship in 2007, based on her proposal to undertake a survey of irrigation stakeholders views of irrigation policy in Australia and to examine irrigation policy in China and Brazil. Her presentation covered the key findings from the survey of irrigation stakeholders in Australia and discussed some interesting aspects of Chinese and Brazilian irrigation policy processes and practice.
